into Dixie Cove
We pulled out of Walter’s Cove into Kyuquot Sound around 1pm
and lo and behold, Malahide is chugging along down the coastline towards us, having made it
around Brooks this am !!
So the
Three Muskateers are back together again, and off to Dixie Cove, a BEAUTIFUL
anchorage farther up Kyuquot Sound.
Again … beautiful shorelines ….. and STUNNING scenery !!!
(BUT .... I'm not downloading photos over the SAT system so you'll have to hold tight !!! )
Once in Dixie Cove, Sea Level dropped her anchor, Malahide rafted to her and we all climbed on Colibri and headed farther up the channel to have a look-around …. It’s VERY serene, with lots of rocks and Christmas trees !! J
Tomorrow we will be heading down to Rugged Point just at the mouth of Kyouquot ....
apparently there is some beautiful hiking along the beach. Then we will leave Kyuquot Sound
and head into the next inlet (Esperanza Inlet) into Queen Cove.
