July 15, 2013 – There IS wildlife in BC !!!!!!!!!!!!

I am very happy to report there ARE “bears on the beach” …. we finally saw a mom and her cub, on our way from Zeballos to Tahsis ….  Cameron is one happy camper right now !!

 

We have arrived in Tahsis, having left Zeballos around 9 am  ….. the plan is lunch on the  Westview Marina patio, provisioning in town and by 3-4 pm this aft, we will be saying our goodbyes  :-(  and Sea Level will head off to Friendly Cove in preparation for the “jump around the outside” from Nootka Sound into Sydney Inlet and Hot Springs Cove !! Loving Tahsis so far ....

I hate saying goodbye to our group,  as our trip has been SO much fun .... but we DO look forward to connecting up with Bri on Thursday and then Eleanor, Holly, Su, Anne and possibly David in a couple of weeks !!!

I am SO blown away by how beautiful this province is ....and so much of it unseen by most of the population.   The scenery may always be "rocks, water and Christmas trees" but it NEVER gets old because everything plays differently on any given day.  A change in the light changes the views entirely !!!  It is absolutely BEYOND STUNNING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
