Back in Winter Harbor and FISHING success !!!
Penny and Cameron joined the captain and crew of Colibri on
a big fishing adventure OUTSIDE the entrance to Quatsino Sound …. Out in the
big water!! The gang had great success. Many fish were caught …. including a number of
KEEPERS - 2 salmon (Diana and Penny) and 2 small rock fish (Cameron and Diana)
and one BIG ling cod caught by Cameron after heading outside the entrance to
Quatsino Sound. So, dinner tonite is a
chunk of the big ling cod and one of the smaller salmon.
We aren’t going hungry …..

Lawrence and I stayed back in our repective boats and held down the
fort ….
I putzed around - made soup, tidied up a bit and went for a big kayak
around the harbor.
LOVELY day ….
THE PLAN FOR TOMORROW …… It looks like Colibri and Sea Level
II will be heading out and around Brooks Penninsula TOMORROW and heading to the
Bunsby’s!!! YEAH !! The seas are expected to settle down from
their “gale warning”, but just in case … scopolamine patches are IN PLACE on
Cameron and I (and hopefully working their magic) … I’ll let you know if they
are worth the money… stay tuned !!
Also – just want to mention that Penny has been given the “go
ahead” by author, Mary Umstot, to illustrate her children’s book !!! … VERY
exciting ….
And to think we knew Penny
before she became FAMOUS !!! J
