into Dixie Cove
We pulled out of Walter’s Cove into Kyucuot Sound around 1pm
and lo and behold, Malahide is chugging down the coastline, having made it
around Brooks early this am !! So the
Three Muskateers are back together again, and headed to Dixie Cove, a BEAUTIFUL
anchorage farther up Kyuquot Sound.
Again … beautiful shorelines …..
Malahide winding her way into Dixie Cove .......
Once in Dixie Cove, Sea Level dropped her anchor, Malahide
rafted to her and we all climbed on Colibri and headed farther up the channel
to have a look-around …. It’s VERY serene, with lots of rocks and Christmas
trees !! J
Our own private anchorage in Dixie Cove ….
Tomorrow we will be heading down to Rugged Point as it is
apparently beautiful hiking along the beach, then we will leave Kyuquot Sound
and head into the next inlet (Esperanza Inlet) into Queen Cove .
