July 14 - A day in Zeballos

 

 

 

Today we spent the day in Zeballos, starting with a big breakfast at our favorite Mexican restaurant!!  We hiked the local area for most of the afternoon and plan to head back to our favorite Mexican restaurant for dinner (What can I say … we like to support the locals !  J ) 

After our walk through the woods, one of the locals warned us of a cougar seen walking through the town last nite …. We assured him that Penny and I don’t bite (hahaha)  and that people were still safe!!    (Apparently they shot a cougar wandering through the town, just last week !!   YIKES !!)

We of course, have seen NO cougars …. NO bears …. Poor Cameron!!  J

This MAY be our last dinner together as Sea Level is going to start forging ahead to Friendly Cove tomorrow, slowly working our way to Tofino to meet up with BriGuy on Thursday !!!  So … we of course, HAD to wear our Team Trawler shirts …..
